Guest Lecture in Bern in cooperation with PwC

On March 4, current students, alumni and guests gathered at the offices of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Bern.

Peter Wittwer, Partner at PwC Bern AG, gave a warm welcome to the guests and provided an interesting overview about the key findings of PwC's 13th global CEO survey and the lessons learned. Access details about the light at the end of the tunnel and the burden of regulation by clicking here.

The finance function of the future

The crisis has completely changed the CFO’s role, priorities and challenges.  But to what extent, and in what way, does the crisis impact the corporate financial function? Professor Roodhooft conducted a study on that topic which he presented during the Guest Lecture.

Impact, opportunities and threats of a global recession

In 2007, a CFO’s primary concern was still the reliability of information, whereas today this issue barely makes a “blip” on the radar screen. Even the creation of value has dropped in priority, and the CFO’s confirm that the balance between risk and return has changed dramatically since the outbreak of the crisis.  What are today’s dares?  And what are the challenges for the future? Find the answer in the presentation of Professor Roodhooft.

Planning to invest in your future?

Why the Rochester-Bern Executive MBA Program?  How does the format look like?  Who is an ideal candidate?  Dr. Petra Joerg addressed those and more questions during her short presentation, access the details by clicking here.
