Capstone project

The concluding highlight of the program is a capstone project asking students to apply what they have learned in a live business-plan project.

Project

The capstone project gives students the opportunity to write a business plan in small groups.  In this project, they use all the knowledge acquired in the program and techniques gained from a business-plan workshop as wells as cultural insights from the China seminar.  Students are given adequate time and guidance to achieve outstanding results.  The capstone project may deal with a problem of the own company, with the realization of a business idea, or with a project of an organization not directly connected with the students.

Benefits

Throughout the project, students work intensively with their study team and the managers of the company they write the business plan for.  They improve their international network, explore the cross-functional applications of the various classes they have taken, and expand their problem-solving abilities.  After having completed the business plan, they present their solution to a panel of experts on the last weekend before graduation.
