SFI - Swiss Finance Institute

Program Partner DAS in Banking

Created in 2006 by the Swiss Banks, the Swiss Stock Exchange, six leading Swiss Universities and the Swiss Federal Government, the SFI is a unique undertaking merging the experience of a centuries old financial center with the innovative drive of a frontier research institution. Its goal is to change the research and teaching landscape in areas relevant to banks and financial institutions.

With 50 full time professors and about 100 PhD students, the Swiss Finance Institute represents the premier concentration of expertise in banking and finance across the European Continent. In bank management, SFI is offering the 5-week Advanced Executive Program, the 4-week Senior Management Program in Banking, as well as shorter banking seminars and in-house trainings.

The 6-week DAS in Banking is offered in cooperation with Rochester-Bern and allows graduates to obtain a Diploma of Advanced Studies with a recognized degree of University of Berne.

In 2011 the SFI launched a new Executive MBA in Asset and Wealth Management offered in cooperation with Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University and HEC Lausanne, The faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Lausanne.
